Gamblers Anonymous is mulling a proposal to add fantasy sports to its list of dangerous activities for problem gamblers. The fantasy sports I see advertised are currently offering winnings of a million or more. That is big money and I think a person suffering from a Gambling addiction is going to be drawn to it, big sports fan or not. I can't see someone like that seeing those ads and saying... "Oh, that's not my thing, I'll just leave it to the sports fans."  If little old ladies that can't stay out of the bingo hall and stop spending their meager pensions need Gambler's Anonymous, I'd say the addicts confronted with big money fantasy sports need GA too.  katt

Sky Gambling is gambling. If you are addicted to gambling any gambling is bad. Some addicts only bet on sports.

I agree with Jerry. But personally I think fantasy sports are nothing to compare with real sports. I enjoy having a bet and watch the game on TV. Sometimes I enjoy betting on the enemy's team when my favourite team plays. - If my favourite team wins, I lost some cash but I am happy for my team. If my favourite team lost at least I've made some cash. Think that none of these would be possible with fantasy sports.
