He'd be even more correct in this case (assuming no bonuses are involved). Roulette wheels in land based casinos can still occasionally be bias/broken (even more likely in Einstein's time). This wouldn't happen with an online roulette wheel.

Maybe under perfect conditions a clocking device would help the bettor win consistently. You would need a 100 fps connection which under today's technology is not even close to what we are offered currently. Then you would need late bets allowed, so that you (or better, your clocking device) can place bets while the ball is released and rolling. It wouldn't need to tell you on what number will land. It would only need to calculate in what area the impact will be and how far can be deflected. In fact, if your clocking device would be able to accurately exclude only two numbers on which the ball will NOT land and bet equally on all the rest, you would win one unit every hand. I imagine this is not impossible at all under perfect conditions. The drawback is, we will never receive perfect conditions to beat roulette online.
