I was thinking this subject might be of interest for some, but I've Googled and found not a lot of info on this subject.

From what I see, at least in theory Central Disputes System (CDS) aims to do same things for RTG and NuWorks casinos that eCogra does for Microgaming ones, namely resolve player disputes. Well eCogra probably does a bit more as it enlarged its area of operation to more providers other than Microgaming (see 888, Bwin or even Zynga Casino & Poker if anyone remembers from its Facebook success) and also conducts periodic (yearly) tests to certify that the games provided (RNG engine) by casinos who wear its seal are fair.

Other than that, I see eCogra is in dispute mediation business since 2003 while CDS since 2008. eCogra requests that at least 2 weeks has passed since the dispute started before it looks into a submitted case while CDS accepts any issue on the go. eCogra says it updates you weekly on the progress while CDS asks you wait 3 up to 6 weeks for a final resolution.

Personally I only ever dealt with eCogra, had a delayed €700 payment from Bwin for two weeks after it retired its backgammon product. Used to always get my money next day, after a week passed I called to Bwin and I was told I will be paid "very soon" and refused to be given a certain date. After a second week has passed I've contacted eCogra explained the situation and two days later I've got my money.

Although I had a few disputes with some RTG websites, I have never personally dealt with CDS as I was never owed money (except $1 from Jackpot Grand for which I didn't bothered too much). So I can't tell much about CDS efficiency.

So I am writing this thread with the hope that Gambling City can give us some more insight since I see eCogra seal here too, and also welcome any players to share their experiences and add any helpful info on the subject about both eCogra and CDS.

By the way are there more similar websites like eCogra and CDS (maybe that can handle disputes for Rival or Top Games casinos)?
