This may sound like a stupid question, since we all know that the odds are stacked against us when playing Roulette, but has anyone managed to develop a kind of “strategy” that actually profits every session? Let’s say that each session is “x” amount of spins. Is there a system that can help me find a profit every time if I do “x” amount of spins?

I know that no system is 100%, so please don’t chastise me for being an idiot. I just want to know if there is something out there.

There's no such thing as a Roulette System.Shame on you

The odds for every spin are 2.7% against the player (about double that if one is stupid enough to play with a Double-Zero roulette wheel).

The Martingdale system involves playing even odds bets and doubling up on all losing bets in order to eventually win the starting bet.
This would work if the player had unlimited funds and the casino imposed no betting limit. However, because neither are generally true, the punter could be risking a very large amount to win the initial small bet only to find one of these limits forces him out.

Roulette is entirely luck. You could have a winning streak. But in the long run the odds are against you.

I play mainly roulette and frequently win Liar because I exercise discipline. When winning, I stop playing.

There surely are systems that even win on the long run. Those are very smart strategies developed through many years of research and development and live play.

Here are the results of the first 100 Zumma tester book for roulette using a very smart system called IBS9:

Spin/Number/Red Black/Even Odd/High Low/Total Net Units/
1 13 B O L
2 9 R O L 2
3 22 B E H 2
4 32 R E H 4

96 30 R E H 50
97 13 B O L 50
98 34 R E H 50
99 10 B E L 50
100 12 R E L 51

IBS9 generates 1 unit for every 2 spins, played on all even bet areas simultaneously. Would those kind of results have been achieved by using random betting or luck? No

I wouldn't waste my money. The only system is to get up and go when you are winning.
The only person who wins with Izaak's system is the publisher of the book he recommends.

To get up and go when you are winning is surely part of the system, but not the entire system. It's part of the money management. When your win target is reached, it is surely time to get up and go.

The system itself has a few dimensions.

First one is the bet selection: to know where to place your bets.
Second one is the bet method: to know how much to bet and if to raise or lower your bets depending on how the system is built.
Third one is the timing: to know when to place your bets and skip potential losses.
Fourth one is the one Revel mentioned: to know when to leave and how to keep your profits without giving back everything you won back to the casino.

Millions can and have been won with our easy and practical winning roulette system. This roulette system is absolutely real - it is so effective that some casinos even hire consultants to train their staff to deal with professional players, but it's not enough to stop our players winning. Almost every wheel is beatable - even the most modern designs. As the majority of players still don't know how to beat roulette, the game will still be available for some time to come. This is truly a unique and genuine opportunity to earn a living from casinos.

Actually there is something (although not a system) which can work to exploit a roulette wheel under two conditions:

1) the casino must accept your bets after the ball has been put into play
2) you must have a visual ballistics computing device which can compute the speed of the ball and landing area

Problems: -most casino are not accepting late bets after the ball has been released
-using such a device in a casino would be considered a felony and send you to prison before you make a penny

OK, someone might think such a device would work and be usable if played online at a late bets live dealer roulette?

Problems: -all online casinos are using a 5-15 frames per second to broadcast from their live casino studio (which is more than good enough for our eyes to pleasantly perceive all the action) but for a visual ballistic computing device (installed on your screen), that is not even near enough to have a good read and high hit frequency of the ball landing area -- it would need at least 100+ frames per second

Anyway, if you are able to build such a device (just to see if it is possible), I suggest you try to also find access at a Cammegh wheel which has a built in servo motor which changes the speed of the rotor during the spin. If you can build/find such a thing, then you'll have options.

And there is another legal way: roulette wheel bias (again, not a system) -- but this very well might be a matter of the past by now

To understand roulette bias you must read about Gonzalo Garcia Pelayo (in Spanish) or watch this documentary: Roulette Bias Analysis

In short, the idea is that old roulette reels with poor or improper maintenance might have a bias and throw some numbers more frequently than normal while at the same time some numbers occurrence is less than normal for a certain very large sequence of rolls. As you might think, betting the "hot numbers" with a good money management and with a steady starting bankroll might make you rich almost overnight.

Where you can find such a biased roulette wheel? - I've heard that Argentina and South American countries would be a place to look for....

PS: If you'd like to know more about roulette, history or classic known systems, don't hesitate to read the Wikipedia Roulette Encyclopedia

Let's assume it was possible to predict with 100% certainty into which quadrant or individual number the ball will drop, that prediction would be completely negated by the metal protrusions that can deflect the ball to ANY other part of the wheel.
This is made especially significant by the wheel and the ball moving in opposite directions. The faster the wheel or ball is spun the greater the effect of the protrusions in deflecting the ball from the predicted target.

When being asked of the possible effectiveness of a high tech device, which can measure the velocity of the ball against the velocity of the wheel in order to predict the outcome sector of the wheel (with like a 40% accuracy), Michael Shackleford response was: "I don't know much about devices to clock wheels, except they are known to exist and be used from time to time. Here in Nevada such a device would be highly illegal."

Any strategy or system claiming to guarantee wins cannot be trusted, but there are specific betting patterns that can increase your chances of making a profit short term. But in the long run, the casino edge always means the casino will end up on top. Your best bet is to play a game with a lower house edge. Or try La Partage Roulette as that gives a partial refund on outside bets when the green zero occurs

European roulette is one of my favorite. If casino's didn't put the WR so high for these games, it'd be a fav for bonus-hunters.

Roullette is one of my favorite because you often either win big, or lose it all. Given my withdrawal fees can sometimes stack up to $50, it's sometimes a fav even over Blackjack. I don't think anyone has a winning strategy to beat Roullette directly, but if a bonus is in play or your getting CB from GC well then............

thanks 1 user thanked James for this useful post.
