James,
5Dimes do offer
PLENTY of
+EV opportunities, and not only for blackjack. (Study its in-house Cashback Revwards Program and combine that with the Gambling City Cash Back Deal!) On top of that, it does offer many +EV blackjack games.
A few ones to say it public: the
777 Diamond Jackpot Blackjack (now at $6,400) which is played at the live dealer tables and requires no side bet. It is seeded at $5,000 by the casino and rises with 1.5c with each bet placed on the table, and the minimum bet is $5. (Sadly in the past this had much better rules towards how the bets contributed to the jackpot but that's another story.) The game itself has a 0.69% house edge but when you do account the 0.3% (1.5c contribution to the Jackpot) of your $5 bet per hand and the $5,000 casino seeded money into the Jackpot and know that statistically a 21 player hand composed of 3 sevens of diamond occurs 1 in 263,420 hands (for when the dealer checks for blackjack before allowing players to hit) you will figure out that this blackjack game is +EV once the Jackpot reach $6,300 if you only play minimum bets of $5 per hand. As this is a live game, (with a 40-50% penetration) in practice you should also be able to count cards and get an extra edge. But just be careful as 5Dimes rules forbid card counting! But they want to protect themselves against players who bet minimum and when TC goes +2 start betting max table. I suppose you are more than safe if just keep betting table minimum but only count cards in order to know when to take insurance and when not to take it as this will still add a bit of EV to your bag!
A few
smaller progressive blackjack games (you can found these in 5Dimes Bonus Casino - provided by the DGS software) which do require side bets of either 0.25c or $1 but which also frequently become +EV as the side bet jackpot contribution is fair and pay the Jackpot very quickly as it only requires you to hit a suited blackjack. Recently I have found a $135 jackpot of this type for a $1 side bet I have played 40-50 hands and eventually hit it when the jackpot was $149. These are very profitable if you just check them daily and remember that you should hit a suited blackjack once in 84 hands. Also you should note that the casino seed these jackpots at $75 for $1 side bets.
In the same 5Dimes DGS casino, there are many more blackjack games variations, some of which are +EV. And remember that you can play with a speed of 600-650 hands per hour if you play a multihand blackjack game. There were also known to be some +EV Video Pokers too.
Now I don't know for your depositing costs at 5Dimes. I am able to use web wallets and incur no deposit fees at all. But withdrawals are not free. These incur a $15 flat fee with the only exception being if you do submit your withdrawal request Monday between 9:00 to 13:00 EST. And this is free only one time per month. But with all those costs, $5 Dimes is a great site to play with maybe the best games offered.
Some
other +EV opportunities are some of the offered Live Blackjacks. I would recommend you
Pinnacle Sports Casino, its Live Blackjack has an edge of 0.35%, you can bet up to $10,000 per hand and card counting is not forbidden (like at 5Dimes). Pinnacle is also known to offer every imaginable currency and pay out your winnings within minutes. Heard no one complaining that he was barred from playing.
Winning from Tournaments, is nice but trust me that if you are skilled enough to win constantly, it will not last forever. And not because you can't keep your head over the water but because generally speaking
casinos don't like winners! I've been banned from playing tournaments at several casinos just because I was a winner (and probably constantly beaten their in-house players). Read a
short story on how I was barred from playing Tournaments at a few casinos featured on Gambling City. But in reality I've been barred from many more.
