I've noticed that some casinos are listed at the same high CB% (up to 20%) for many months/years. Two examples of this are Silver Oak Casino and Sloto'Cash Casino (which have CB% offers of 20% and 19%).

These places don't score high however on ratings scales. On the site AskGamblers, their scores are 3.03 and 4.37 (out of 10). I know that GC has a blacklisted and "Gambling Grumbles" section, but I feel like their should be a review/reputation score listed next to casinos because many of the casinos that have the highest CB% on offer (and are thus advertised more too), sometimes score lower on credibility!

Any thoughts, comments, observations?

I'm pretty sure the cash back % given here is totally unrelated with the reputability of a casino. It is probably more related with the financial agreement between the parties (if the casino pay more that the other ones, Gambling City will give more back to members for that casino).

A credibility score might be helpful, but I'm not sure how reliable could it be. You really need lots of info to have a correct figure. And I suppose this is entirely let for member's work (to check Gambling Grumbles reports for any particular casino they want to play at, Hall Of Shame, Blacklist, Warning To Players -- what is not negatively reflected into these should be OK). Ofcourse, one should do deeper search...

if you are already researching elsewhere at askgamblers.com it seems you already have the tools you require

Silver Oak and Sloto'Cash are both based on the RTG platform but their reputation cold not be much more different. While Silver Oak Casino and its sister casinos have had payment issues for more than a decade, the record of Sloto'Cash is excellent. Silver Oak Casino is currently a deposit-only casino for many players.

True, but the CB% is partially related to how many GC members are actively playing at that casino. We see the CB% at other popular casinos go down gradually over time, but not all of them. For the ones that are staying close to 20%, one does have to wonder "why" Think

Agreed about the research, but having a "credibility score" is easier to remember and requires one to put in less time and effort! I'm not saying its better than what currently offered on GC, because its obviously not, but I do think that its much more convenient!

I guess its not really fair to put these two casinos in the same boat. I wonder why though the CB% for Sloto'Cash has remained high for so long?

I suppose not many are playing there (probably members around here do a good research before playing and found better alternatives). After this GG report, I'd stay away too if I wanted to play with a bonus there. But I know for sure, two years ago it was at 15% CB or less.

I don't feel great seeing a link to Silver Oak in my post, containing promotions for a casino that knowingly does not pay. Oh my.

I guess that's the policy. In this community, everything which is (still) promoted on Gambling City must be linked to the respective page.

Another topic GB advised not to use bonus when we play in online casinos we are going to claim cash back in, is this still this sites opinion or advisement to us? I have tried both ways and won only when I used a bonus it was a while ago since I won enough to cash out though. I just wish besides gambling grumbles players would let us know when they hit a slump in a place they play regularly, so we can see and make a choice.
I also noticed when you push on casino's details they aren't always up to date some say yes USA then when you go it said no. Does GamblingCity update these details?

I believe it does update frequently but I imagine there is a whole load of work behind the scenes and also the casinos change these details quite frequently. For example now a casino might accept US players, but something may change and after just a week passed the very same casino may no longer accept US players. -- Which are the casinos that are advertised as accepting US players but actually doesn't?

Adeline,

On the Red Stag Casino details page under PLAYER RESTRICTIONS it lists the following USA states as restricted: Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Washington

Did you check that? Or, did you go by just the flag?

Regards,
Sky
