Hi Albert Did you know if you register at www.GamblingCity.com and enter your favourite game in your Profile, you'll receive banners and promotions for that game?

Hi Chantellejoseph Thanks very much for posting that useful information. The link to Dandy Bingo has been removed in terms of the Forum Rules. This Forum is about Favourite Games, not casinos. So your posting is off-topic. Please bear this in mind for future posts. Graeme Edited by user Wednesday, August 20, 2014 4:32:08 AM(UTC)

Albert, if you ask me I'll say without doubt backgammon is. I was 6 when I've learned it and played on a daily basis since.

Your post about backgammon being your favorite got me wondering, how do you play it for money? I have never played actual backgammon, but I used to play something called "Acey, Ducey" that seems to me to be much the same game, but perhaps a more simplified version. My favorite game is Poker, mostly Texas Hold'em, No Limit. But, I will play other poker games now and then. And, of course, Video Poker which seems to keep me warmed up and ready for Hold'em.

Mark loves Backgammon, I'm not so much of a fan but humor him from time to time On to the subject of Backgammon for money Katt, I know Gambling City lists sites that do offer that, but none that I am aware of take USA players at this time. Online Backgammon CasinosMy favorite game is one my Grandparents taught me called 'Oh Heck' - it consists of a pre-determined number of rounds. Each round cards are dealt at a reduced number, (from 7 to 1, or 10 to 1). Once each player gets their cards they 'bid' on how many 'books' (hands within the round) they think they will take based on the trump community card and their cards. It's kind of like really aggressive Gin Rummy combined with Poker. Always fun with a group of friends. Cheers, Sky

Thanks Sky... I sure hope the US gets with the program and lets us gamble online any way we want pretty soon.
I played a game like, 'Oh Heck' but my family was not delicate enough to say "heck"

Katt, there are many backgammon variants and "Acey Ducey" is one of them. Also Acey Ducey in itself has at least two popular variants: American and European. It is true that Acey Ducey involves more luck factor than regular Backgammon, but it is far from being simpler. Here is a link from BKGM accurately explaining all known backgammon variations http://www.bkgm.com/variants/AceyDeucey-American.htmlBackgammon for money, yes I play it online, but for me is easier since I live outside of the US, although many websites no longer offer it. From what I know, the only websites which accepts US residents and offer real money games are www(dot) gamecolony(dot) com (this one has no 3D graphics but offer a mobile version and there are a couple of players anytime) and www(dot) gammongame(dot) com (this one has very realistic 3D graphics and offers £10 freerolls 3 times a day with 60-90 participants, but except of these, there is not much action). Anyway, if you would just like to play online for fun (or rating) I would recommend you www(dot) fibs(dot) com (there you'll find very competitive players) or www(dot) safeharborgames(dot) net (there you will find players of all levels and fun tournaments around the clock).

Roulette is my favourite, although Blackjack is often fun especially with the live dealers. I read that blackjack has a lower casino edge compared to Roulette. Edited by moderator Sunday, December 28, 2014 2:51:07 PM(UTC)

Hi Robbyp123,
Blackjack does indeed have a lower house edge than Roulette. If you use a perfect basic strategy in Blackjack you can reach almost even odds with the house, certainly below 1%. Do be aware though that playing on hunches and not using the basic strategy raises the house edge to 2%, 3% or even more.
On the other hand, the house edge in Roulette varies with the type of game you play. European gives you better odds than American Roulette. Single Zero roulette always has better odds than double zero games. American roulette with double zero carries a house edge of about 5.26%, whereas single zero versions of roulette carry a house edge closer to 2.70%.

I recently found my two gaming fortês: KENO & TRI (or three) CARD POKER!!!! These were not too long ago games that caused me serious concern, though I'd only ever played keno once, and had never played T.C.P! But once I learned to stop with the lucky numbers, keno became a very profitable play indeed. And Tri-card was almost instinctively in sync with my bets! So never be afraid to try games other than slots! O, and have fun!!!

Book of Ra video slot - I've witnessed someone winning over $6,000 from a 2.5 cents spin in a gas station bar. The guy bought in with something less than $1,5. What is amazing is the fact that the game is not a progressive game. The bonus feature can be re-triggered. This guy re-triggered the the bonus feature about 10 times and almost every spin paid the maximum possible win according to paytable.
Book of Ra can be found at a couple online casinos too. I don't think we will hear of a 240,000 x bet win again on a non progressive slot.
